"Not Like That" is the third single from Ashley Tisdale's debut studio album Headstrong. The song was written by David Jassy, Joacim Person, Nicolas Molinder and Tisdale herself. Sonically, the song is a dance-pop song with rnb and middle eastern influences. The track was officially released on January 25, 2008 in Europe as the third single from the album and was the first single not released in the United States. It was a commercial success in Europe, becoming the singer's second single to reach the top 20 in Germany and top 40 in Austria.
