Donda 2 is the eleventh studio album by Kanye West, released exclusively on West’s Stem Player device on February 22nd, 2022, eventually being updated and released on streaming in April 29, 2025 with subsequent updates the days after. The project was executively produced by Future. After the release of Donda (Deluxe), new material would start to be made. The project started off as a Kanye West x Future collaboration album but would later form into Kanye's own project. The album was believed to be scrapped after Kanye's antisemitic remarks surfaced, which led him to create the Vultures duology, a series of collaboration albums with his friend, Ty Dolla $ign. The project released with finished production and feature verses but contained incomplete Kanye vocals ranging from none at all to semi complete, with most being mumble verses. More complete versions leaked over the months following its supposed cancellation. On March 19, 2025, Ye announced on X that he would be releasing Donda 2 alongside his other announced albums BULLY and CUCK. Ye also revealed that he may begin working on a third Donda album. Sometime in April 2025, creatives around Ye began stating a complete version of Donda 2 was imminent with the paperwork clearance already being signed alongside the tracks being completed months ago. On April 24, 2025, Ye stated on a Digital Nas stream that Donda 2 would release after his new single “COUSINS”. The following day, Irko confirmed Donda 2 was mixed and mastered
