America Must Be Destroyed was the third album by heavy metal band GWAR, and the 2nd on Metal Blade Records. Pretty much the entirety of this album was inspired by the North Carolina incident in which Dave Brockie was arrested for obscenity because of his Cuttlefish of Cthulu. Brockie was disgusted by the violation of his rights, so in turn he created a concept album revolving around the “Morality Squad”. A group that attacked the members of Gwar ad stole Oderous’s Cuttlefish. Since it’s a concept album, the opening song, “Ham on the Bone” describes the robbery of his Cuttlefish. The result of doing this is Gor-Gor, a mighty T-Rex that reigns havoc on the U.S.A. While this is all going on, the Morality Squad enlists the help of Father Bohab, whom is a catholic priest that the squad wanted to crucify GWAR in the media. A long form video, Phallus in Wonderland, was released to accompany the album’s storyline. The “movie” was 54 minutes long. The Road Behind EP was released after the album, which contained the song of the same name, and a live version of “Have You Seen Me?” as well as other unreleased tracks. The single “S.F.W.” was supposedly on the album as a bonus track, though the band has discounted that. A special edition of the album was released through Metal Blade in November of 2009. This contained the album, as well as a DVD wit
