"28" is Joe Da III's eighth beat tape, released officially to Bandcamp on September 26th, 2023. Symbolic of an evolving taste, this was his first foray in nearly half a decade into crafting beats that fit into the realm of electronica and rap/rock as well as the continuation of his soul and psychedelic roots. With samples from artists ranging from Black Sabbath, Hiatus Kaiyote and Sofie Royer to Solange, Khurangbin and Sharon Jones, it serves as a display of him opening himself up more to experimentation with new genres.
