"The 12th Month Ep" (2006) is unofficially the first release of the Las Vegas Indie/Alt rock band Atlas Takes Aim. (Before their official debut album "Tuesday") It was recorded several months before they played their first show, and according to Mason Ian "The album was made just to have a press kit so we could book shows, but it turned out far better than we could have imagined." Like all of their other releases so far, "The 12th Month Ep" was completely a DIY album. The band has their own recording studio and Mason Ian mixes, masters and designs the album artwork.
