"You Wanna Cry" is the third song featured on IVE's third mini-album IVE EMPATHY. It was released on February 3, 2025. 'You Wanna Cry' is a reinterpretation of Whitney Houston's famous song 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)' in IVE's own style. Modern rock style drums and colorful synth sounds richly fill the sound on top of a familiar melody, and the contrasting gentle acoustic guitar sound adds a warm and delicate atmosphere to the song.
