IVE Empathy is the third EP by IVE. It was released on February 3, 2025 with "Rebel Heart" and "Attitude" serving as the album's double title tracks. "Rebel Heart" was pre-released on January 13, 2025. On December 1, 2024, Starship Entertainment announced that that IVE is currently preparing for their comeback scheduled for January 2025. On December 24, IVE announced that they will be releasing their third EP IVE Empathy on February 3, 2025. The opening song "Rebel Heart" is described as a song that combines diverse vocal harmonies and a thrilling chorus, and the sweet strings and up-tempo drums create a rich sound. The comforting lyrics and the majestic sound give a strange sense of reversal. The second "Flu" is a pop dance song with an addictive chorus melody and rich vocal harmonies. The refreshing drum rhythm harmoniously adds to the colorful synth sounds to create a fresh atmosphere. The third "You Wanna Cry" is a reinterpretation of Whitney Houston's famous song "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" in IVE's own style. Modern rock style drums and colorful synth sounds richly fill the sound on top of a familiar melody, and the contrasting gentle acoustic guitar sound adds a warm and delicate atmosphere to the song. The fourth "Thank U" is an attractive song with medium tempo drums and groovy bass lines.
