“Want You” is a song recorded by Mariah Carey for her eight studio album, Glitter. In an interview with BBC Radio in August 2001, Mariah said: "The track I did with Eric Benet, ‘Want You’, that I did with Jimmy and Terry Lewis, and since they did all the SOS band, Alexander ONeal, Cherrelle – all those records that I loved growing up, I said “Guys, can we do something very SOS Band but new?” and because they have the same synthesizers from back in the day, they’ve got the same reverb plates that they used.
