It was written as a tribute to Mariah’s friend & stylist Tonjua Twist, who committed suicide in 2000. The song was featured in “Glitter,” but didn’t have anything to do with the movie. Mariah wrote this song at a difficult time in her life – she was relatively unsuccessful, the aforementioned death of Tonjua Twist, and her father would pass soon after this song’s release. She compares how she is ‘feeling kind of fragile’ and it reminds her of the struggles Tonjua had went through.
