“Survival” is the opening track of Madonna’s sixth album, Bedtime Stories. It was written by Madonna and Dallas Austin and produced by the duo alongside Nellee Hooper. The song references another Madonna song, "Live to Tell", in the lines "Whether it's heaven or hell / I'm gonna be living to tell".
