"Strange World" is a song by Iron Maiden from their self-titled debut album. Written by the band's bass player Steve Harris, it appears as the sixth track on the original US and UK releases of the album, and as the seventh track on the remastered 1998 CD. It follows the instrumental track "Transylvania" on the album. The song describes a dystopian society where people do not age and happiness is superficial. The lyrics explore themes of isolation and discontent within this seemingly perfect world.
