"Someday Man" is the opening track of Paul Williams' 1970 album, Someday Man. Written by Williams and Roger Nichols, it was recorded by The Monkees in 1969, with Davy Jones on lead vocals. The single made it to #81 on the Billboard Hot 100, but it was the B-side, "Listen to the Band" (written by Michael Nesmith), that earned the favor of the disc jockeys and the record-buying public, reaching #63.
