The opening track from their 2009 free mixtape, The Land of the Lakes, "Rich and Famous" reestablishes the Great Lakes crew as a group at the forefront of underground Hip Hop in the midwest, which they affectionately dub "The Fourth Coast." Ron Jero's intro and first verse have strong ties in both backpack and acid rap, followed by an infectious hook. Framez Madison, and Mo P follow with verses of their own, both commenting on the state of current hip hop, and carrying their own swagger and braggadocio .
