“Plastic Box” is an electropop track about taking a chance on love. It serves as the fourth single from JADE’s debut album, THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!. It follows her maximalist pop anthem “FUFN (Fuck You For Now).” On May 29, 2025, JADE posted a clip of her signing an acapella version of the chorus. She then debuted the song at the BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2025. On June 2, 2025, the English artist previewed it via social media with a pre-save link.
