One More Chance is a story-book song about taking opportunities in life. The songs draws story-book songwriting of Bob Dylan, Billy Bragg, even Country Music, and gives it a Britpop flavour with the vocal style of The Smiths and the overall demeanour of The Beautiful South. Anthemic and inspirational, it was recorded in Medici Studios, Australia, produced by Michael Stangel and Paul Morgan in late 2008.
