All alone in his hotel room, Pink is counting what he has left after he decided to completely isolate himself: his physical possessions and his own broken dreams of freedom that he can't achieve due to the wall that he has constructed since he was a little kid. Nobody home references Syd Barrett as Pink is somewhat of an amalgamation of Roger and Syd, with Syd's deteriorated mental state during the 60's and Roger's personal life elements were used to create Pink.
