A rambling medley of original and cover tunes, recorded live to 2-track in a Columbus, Ohio warehouse, January, 1991. The haunting, delicate poem at the beginning of the song was found in a study carrel deep in the stacks of the Ohio State University library. The second section, entitled "Etude in F#", was written in honor of a former teacher, for whom the band had little affection. Apropos to nothing, it contains a 12-tone row a la Schoenberg, played on the electric guitar.
