Three-piece garage band from Columbus, Ohio, that recorded in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They described their work as "Hymns of suburban teenage misery" that could be summarized as: 1. songs about bands that were more successful than us and, therefore, we hated; 2. songs about girls that did not like us; 3. songs about being broke and miserable; 4. songs about revenge. The band members all attended Colubus' performing arts high school, Fort Hayes. Describing the curriculum there as "insufferable whitebread jazz", they discovered in each other a "shared interest in American indie rock: The Replacements, the Descendents, The Meat Puppets, Black Flag, and Columbus’ own Royal Crescent Mob."
