The Lyrical Sonata is a one-movement sonata, in a style roughly between Haydn and Beethoven (in his Bonn period, i.e. before he settled in Vienna in 1792). It is full of relentless energy and drive - and therefore not easy to play! The development plays ‘perpetuum mobile’ games with the first subject while the second subject is virtually ignored as development material. Not very Haydnesque but very Beethovenian.
