Just Pretend is a song by American band Bad Omens, published on August 23, 2022 as the sixth single from their third studio album The Death of Peace of Mind, published on February 25, 2022 with Sumerian Records. The song was written and produced by vocalist and frontman Noah Sebastian and guitarist Joakim Karlsson. Speaking to British bimonthly New Musical Express, after the song success, Sebastian revealed that Just Pretend was initially written as a butt-rock parody, meant to show "how easy it was to make a radio rock song".
