Japanese Toy',released in summer 2008, and the first single off the forthcoming album from Cowboy X,is an infectiously catchy and bracingly confident female-fronted electro-rock tune, drinking deep from Cowboy X's intoxicating Garry Numan-meets-Ladytron cocktail. While the band have already made a decent reputation for themselves on the back of their 2006 long-player 'Who are these People?', if this track is anything to go by, the follow-up should be something quite special.
