In The Dark is the seventh track from Self Diagnosis' 2007 album Remnants. In The Dark is something of an oddity within the context of Remnants. It was recorded in a separate section from the rest of the album, while attempting to finalise the recording methods the band intended to use. The recording features no bass guitar, instead featuring two different electric guitar lines, both played by guitarist Joe Watson - at the time of recording, bassist James Ashwell had been unable to learn the bass line Watson had written
