"Hung Up" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Madonna for her tenth studio album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. It was written and produced by the singer and Stuart Price, with a prominent sample of the instrumental introduction to ABBA's "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)", as well as lyrical samples from her 1989 song featuring Prince, "Love Song". It was released as the record's first single on 17 October 2005. Madonna
