Titled “guilty conscience,” the track is the twelfth song on Tate McRae’s album THINK LATER, released December 8, 2023. Throughout the song, McRae portrays the inner turmoil of being caught in a messy, toxic relationship — one marked by deceit, secrets, and regret. Over dark, pulsing instrumentation and haunting vocal delivery, she admits that despite countless “messed-up nights,” lies, and broken trust, she’s still drawn to this person.
