“Geyser” is the first song from Mitski’s 2018 album "Be the Cowboy", released on May 14th along with a music video. “Geyser” had previously been played live at shows (like this one on 2014) and for radio (played in studio for WNYU). "I think this is one of my vaguest songs. Usually my songs have a narrative of some sort. But this song is all feeling. I hesitate to say what it’s about just because once people find out what it’s about they might find it unromantic.
