Freakshow was originally written in the late 90s. A time before social media but when Tabloid Talkshows were peaking and becoming one of the biggest mass distractions in entrainment at that time. A distraction that took the attention of society, at large, away from significant events, by design. It used a small section of ordinary society as a 'Freakshow' to entertain the masses.
