Pink wonders what will be the next thing that will fill what's remaining in the wall after his dad's death in WW2 (Another Brick in the Wall 1), the abuse he suffered in school (Another Brick in the Wall 2) and the oppressive upbringing that his mother gave him (Mother) already have most of the space filled. This song in the live performances and in the movie is replaced by another song called "What Shall We Do Now?".
