"Billboard Bandit" was co-authored by Vic Sadot and Greg DeCowsky in 1979 after hearing a news bulletin about a guy in Los Vegas who was taking down billboards with a chain-saw. The song writers created a humorous celebration of the guy as a "visual pollution activist". This Vic Sadot solo version was recorded at Blair Reese Studio in Berkeley, CA in 2010 with vocals and acoustic guitar. This "virtual release" at Last FM is the first of any version of this song written three decades ago.
