A haunting a cappella song about domestic violence. Domestic violence is a common problem with 1.3% of all women in the US saying they have experienced domestic violence in a year and nearly 1 in 4 women experience a physical assault from a partner in adulthood. She is frustrated by the inaction of the police and her own helplessness as the woman next door is beaten up. This relates to similar anti-authority sentiments in other songs in the album such as “Talking ‘Bout a Revolution” and “Across The Lines.”
