Analogue Droids' is an appropriate title for a band who are becoming more comfortable in the studio with each record. Cowboy X are moving away from their former alternative-indie swagger and embracing an electronic sound scape, first heard in 'Gabbi'. This EP shows their growing emphasis on making well produced studio-sounding music. Each song flows seamlessly into the next. The title track adopts vodocoded vocals and layers of synthesizers for their own formula of robotic pop.
