Act Appalled was first released on Circa Survive’s debut EP The Inuit Sessions (2005), before appearing on their debut album Juturna (2005). While maintaining some connections to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Act Appalled emphasizes the album’s second theme: Anthony Green’s struggles with addiction, and how it affects to his self-image.
