Forming in mid 2009, thekillbotfactory set out to create a sound. Something, fresh, fun and energetic, amid a huge rock and roll sound. The 5-piece hit the stage together for the first time at the Adelaide’s, Jade Monkey in February 2010, then supporting Sydney’s Progressive/Alternative/Metal group MM9 (MGM) on the Adelaide leg of their final tour, by December TKBF were the South Australian winners of the Emergenza battle of the bands competition, and travelled to Melbourne to play at ‘billboards” the Venue. In 2011, after travelling to Gosford NSW, North of Sydney, to record their debut release, and supporting Melbourne’s underground-renegades Over-Reactor on the Adelaide Leg of their ‘Lose Your Delusion’ Album Launch tour, thekillbotfactory released their debut ‘Fight-The-Machine[EP]’ to a sell-out crowd at the Rhino-Room in Adelaide in June 2011. After travelling to Melbourne to perform at ‘The Espy”, St Kilda, at the close of 2011, TKBF commenced 2012 with a blast setting the tone for the coming months. Performing at Heatwave festival alongside international stars, Crazy-Town, and rapper Tech N9ne, and also featuring in Adelaide’s local Summer-Rage-FestIV in the summer of 2012. TKBF have gone on to also feature as part of Adelaide metal clubs, Live Carnage and STRIKE! throughout the year. Mid 2012, thekillbotfactory suffered a setback, as their founding guitarist chose to depart the group. Since, the band has bounced back strongly, heading into the recording studio as
