The FAK is a six piece band formed in the southern suburbs of adelaide. The FAK was created by a mass of coincidenses, the founding members Todd Orlando and Tyson Mahoney spent their early school years arguing over music and constantly insulting each other's taste while Whitey and Hunter were at another school busy being obsessed with bands like slipknot, deftones and mudvayne. Mike was at another school, running through halls nude, not passing and eventually quitting once he was welcomed into the band. It is believed that James was basically just playing guitar and taking in compliments about his facial hair since the age of about 12. Come highschool Tyson and Todd were both the outcasts and a bond was moulded during various german classes and talks about music, the band that got them talking as friends was Korn. Together, left alone to dwell in their own soup of weirdness, ideas and humour they taught each other how to understand music on a higher level. The FAK have just recently released their first EP.
