The Offended Red is a group consisting of Harrel Wilson Ligon(from Today We Escape) on guitar, programming and vocals, Joshua "ikiru" Terrill(from The Day Jobs, The Wreck Toms, Hiiroshiima, as well as production and MCing under the "ikiru" alter ego) on bass, guitar, vocals, programming, drums, amongst other things, Matthew Ayala(from The Day Jobs, The Wreck Toms, THUNDERDOME, Hiiroshiima, etc.) on drums, and Matthew Cuyar on guitar and programming. Based on an idea conveyed to Josh by Wilson, and a few months of back and forth and Josh finally sitting down and writing and recording as many songs as is humanly possible to get a demo put together, they put together one day the personnel necessary to realize the vision. Blending Punk Rock intensity, dance music energy, soulful vocals, back packing hip hop conciousness, intensly funky grooves, and an incredible amount of experimentation with rhythm and blues to create what is hoped to push the boundries yet remain accessible to everyone.
