Artist
skozey fetisch is the Experimental Noise / Occultronic / SuperFreaky / Sound Art project of Mark C. Jackman. Mark C. was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and relocated to San Francisco in 1988. The first skozey fetisch recordings were executed in San Francisco's Haight / Ashbury district in 1989. Jackman also dabbles in the visualable arts and is the primary artist responsible for skozey fetisch album covers and designs. Vladimir Ussachevsky, Tracy Peterson and one Paul Banham (yes, the late music and arts guru) at the University of Utah. Around this time Jackman became the official Music Director of A Company Of Four: Modern Dance-Theater. Mr. Jackman also came to work extensively as a performer and even a choreographer with the company. In Salt Lake City performances and recordings, the skozey fetisch ensemble at times included Brian Hansen who is known here as (brain), Charity Gleason, the late Ian Sornsen of Athlette's Butt and (Weird) Pork fame, the enigmatic Mr. E Von Γ, Matt Monson who recorded one very limited edition cassette under the name 8 and Dane Peterson. In late 1991 Dane, Ian and Matt went on to form a trio outside of skozey fetisch known as DIM, but who are (fortunately/unfortunately) not the dim listed h
