(For more info and music please visit: http://www.myspace.com/neverlosesightaus) Never Lose Sight (formerly Defiance Wears Black) began in 2008 with the addition of the new members to the previous band. Never Lose Sight is based in Brisbane, Australia, with their line-up being solid since June 2009. 2009 was a big year for the band, playing a large number of shows all over Queensland. The year also saw the release of the band’s first studio title “Unbreakable” recorded and produced by Callum Nowland. With 2009 drawing to a close, and a conscious decision to change the musical direction of the band, the band began the writing process again, resulting in the new sound and a new band. They recently stepped out of the studio with the completion of this second studio CD, recorded and mixed by producer Dan Field (The Amity Affliction, Against, The Daylight Curse) and mastered by Modern Mastering’s Dave Neil (The Butterfly Effect, The Amity Affliction, Mourning Tide) which is set for release February this year. Never Lose Sight is now in the process of getting their music heard by as many ears as possible, and hope to get out and hit the road sometime this year.
