Open Sea started in mid 2009. Since we started we have gone through a few lineup changes but we feel as if the four of us as we are now is right. Jordan and I started the band because we didn’t really want to do anything else. Since we started we have played with Raien (ITALY), Defeater (USA), Miles Away, Break Even (on multiple occasions as mark is a lovely man) and the deceased Fires of Waco amongst others. We have organized and directed independently two East Coast Australia tours, and two Australia wide tours. Our latest release June put us in debt because we couldn’t fund the number of orders and seems to be going down well with both audiences and critics. In 2012 we plan to release a split with our best friends Ansieta and tour it both in Australia and Asia as well as New Zealand. We are aged 16-18 and still based on the Gold Coast and are avidly looking for a label that will have us so we can tour forever. Thankyou for listening to our music.
