May Sixteen is a melodical punk/hardcore/screamo band from Braunschweig, Germany, born early 2001. Quickly, the first two demos were released and live experience gained. Several songs featured on label- and fanzinesamplers, particularly two tracks were released on a split-CD of the US indie-label PointFiveLimeyRecords. In January 2004, the second full-length album entitled „Drawn“ was released on Burning Paradise Records. Single tracks made their way on several samplers, including the latest release of the "Punk Chartbusters" series and Eastpak's "Pro Punkrocker 4". In the four years since the inception of the band, May Sixteen have played numerous shows throughout Germany and the Czech Republic, sharing the stage with German acts such as the Donots, Heaven Shall Burn, Waterdown, Alternative Allstars, Highscore and Ransom, as well as with international artists like Engine Down, Walking Concert, Crush My Calm and Rifu.
