Seán William "Jack" McLoughlin (born 7 February 1990), known online as jacksepticeye, is an Irish YouTuber whose content primarily focuses on gaming, comedy, and vlogging. McLoughlin was raised in Cloghan, County Offaly, Ireland, and developed an interest in video games at a young age. He began uploading videos to YouTube in December 2012, and his channel grew rapidly, reaching one million subscribers in 2014 and ten million by 2016. In 2017, he appeared on Disney XD and Irish national television and toured in Europe and the United States as part of his "How Did We Get Here" tour and the Game Grumps’ "Ready Player 3" tour. In 2018, McLoughlin began streaming exclusive content on Twitch under a multi-year deal with Disney Digital Network, while continuing to produce YouTube videos and participate in live events, including Summer Game Fest in 2020. He made a film appearance in "Free Guy" (2021), starring Ryan Reynolds, and released a biographical documentary, "How Did We Get Here?" in 2022, featuring footage from his tour. In 2025, he voiced a character in the video game "Dispatch". McLoughlin is the founder of the Top of The Mornin' Coffee company and co-founded the clothing brand Cloak with fellow YouTuber Markiplier, although he is no longer associated with the brand.
