The idea of HIV Plus was conceived in early 2003 by New Brunswick breakcore promoter Machine Davis after lengthy philosophical debates at the now infamous social club The Swamp. The basic idea was to evoke the violent and engaging aesthetic of digital grindcore, but take the style of music to heights previously thought unattainable by artists. The concept of the band so impressed The Minister Of Violence (bassist for the Noah Lurch Freakout Experience), Nadolf Hivler (formerly of the now defunct grindcore band Aphrodesiac Swastiaks) and Massimo Rubberslash (lead guitar player for the Rape and Revenge of Jennifer Hill), that these four individuals decided to push forth into uncharted territories with several original compositions and a few covers. The band's first recording was their first show at the Dataclast record release party in July of 2003, which became the new highly collectible release "Live At The Clinic". At the beginning of the show, Lucifer Aidsneedle of the seminal death metal band Killer/Destroyer added his famous vocal contributions to the record, and was asked to stay with the band as a permanent member. Shortly after this show, Machine Davis and the Minister of Violence parted ways with the band, but the core creative trio of Aidsneedle, Hivler and Rubberslash pressed on. The first studio demo, "7 Minutes of Hate" was released in September of 2003, followed by "Live At The Clinic, vol 2: Tonite Everyone Breaks Edge!" in March of 2004, "In Praise Of Eternal P
