gulu gulu (ぐるぐる ) was a Japanese visual-kei band formed in 2019 and disbanded in 2023. Members: ** Vocals: 哀 (i/Ai; メメント・モリ→ 黒百合と影 as karasuna mei (烏名鳴) → gulu gulu as I (哀) → Musyouzoku Aka (無所属垢; now in 哀と凛人の無所属) ** Guitar: 凛人(Rito; MIZTAVLA as Kou (光)→ gulu gulu → Musyouzoku Aka (無所属垢; now in 哀と凛人の無所属) ** Bass: (藍珠 (Lanju; LIP SERVICE as Kuyuru (くゆる) → RELOAD (リロード) → GRIEVA (グリーヴァ) → gulu gulu → KiD (support) ) ** Drums: 螢ちゃん (Hotaruchan; ex. Balalaika (バラライカ) Ex members: Guitar: Kazari (ex. llll-Ligro-→gulu gulu→ unknown) History: gulu gulu was a Japanese visual kei band formed in Tokyo in 2019. Emerging from the session project Karasuna Mei to Fuyukaina Nakamatachi (烏名 鳴と不愉快な仲間達), the group officially began activities on April 19, 2019, with a lineup consisting of vocalist Ai (哀), guitarists Lito (凛人) and Kazari, bassist Lanju (藍珠), and drummer Hotaru Chan (螢ちゃん). Shortly after their formation, gulu gulu released their debut single Hen'na MERRY-GO-ROUND on May 28, 2019, in two editions: Mazui-ban and Umai-ban. Their rapid rise in the visual kei scene was marked by their first one-man concert on August 12, 2019, held at Ikebukuro EDGE. In September of the same year, the band expanded their reach through a studio performance livestreamed simultaneously on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitcast, and officially joined sun-krad Co., Ltd. Their second single, Kubiwa Kyōiku no Susume, was originally scheduled for release in October 2019 but was postponed to November 5
