Kebyo (仮病) is a Japanese visual kei band formed in Tokyo in 2016. The band initially focused on dark lyrical themes inspired by traditional Japanese folklore and wafuu aesthetics, later evolving toward menhera kei visuals and themes related to mental health and inner conflict. The name kebyo can be translated as “fake sick” or “feigned illness.” After several lineup changes over the years, Kebyo entered a period of reduced activity following the departure of original vocalist Watanuki Miyuki in 2022 and the suspension of live activities in September 2023. On October 2025, Kebyo officially returned, marking a new phase for the band. Details regarding the current lineup and future activities continue to be gradually revealed.
