His early musical influences include The Eagles, The Beatles, Queen, and Musiq Soulchild, which he enjoyed listening to alongside his father. He started playing covers and original songs at the age of 5. In 2013, at the end of his teenage years, Perez launched his YouTube channel. His initial foray into online music was marked by a video following the "JAMnomination" trend. This trend involved nominating individuals to perform cover versions of songs.
