Matthew Ifield (Born on 14th December 2004 in Sydney, Australia.) is an Australian singer-songwriter who blends contemporary and traditional R&B into a distinctive sound. He first discovered his love of singing at age four and joined the Sydney Children's Choir at eight. In 2019, he started posting covers of artists like Michael Bublé and Frank Sinatra on YouTube and TikTok, gaining traction during the Sydney lockdown. Ifield released his debut single, "Heaven", in 2021. Matthew is half-Malaysian, half-Nordic. In 2025, he released his debut album, My Favourite Place To Be.
