fjyssel is Rasmus Albertsen and Elin Bruun-Nystedt - both living in Sweden. The fjyssel project began when Rasmus Albertsen bought some Commodore 64 tapes to listen to on his taperecorder. He found parts of the tapes particularly interesting and wanted to isolate these parts. At first this was done by simply cutting in the tape itself and taping the part together so it created a loop inside the tape. The music developed into more complex compositions and song was added by Elin Bruun-Nystedt, who is singing through a kaoss-pad which is controlled by Rasmus Albertsen.
