Dana Hart is a singer-songwriter born in Clinton, IA (September 16, 1990) and later transplanted to Southwest Florida. She started playing guitar and writing her own music shortly before the summer of 2008 and truly believes music is what saved her life. Her lyrics are deeply personal, though sometimes lighthearted, and her simple sound structure draws comparison to Kimya Dawson - one of her major influences and her inspiration to pick up guitar.
