2022 sparked the birth of credsz. Starting in late January making video essays, credsz was just a young kid with dreams of making it big, but never took music that seriously with releasing what he called “Joke Albums”. These albums would gain popularity after he posted a video which contain the leaks of Kanye West and Jay Z‘s album Watch The Throne 2. He would release his debut EP “Off The Map” on March 24, 2022 where he would go live on YouTube for a birthday stream where he would talk about future plans for music. The following weeks would contain joke album releases until he released a single off of his 2nd EP “Rejects”. That single would be called Intro To My Life, and to this day is credsz’s most iconic song. credsz would release the deluxe of this EP containing 4 new songs making the original Tracklist go from 4 to 8. The following months would be single after single, but there’s one single that stands out the most “Free”. Which would spread support for the #FREEMFCORIN movement, which to this day his account still has not been unbanned. This song would get support from the RapTok community, and get approval from Corin himself. He would release his debut album “My Paradise” that July which got 1,000 streams the week it released. He would release some mixtapes for a few months to build up the release of his 2nd album UTOPIA which released on 11/24/22, and contain a bunch of features, and 14 tracks.
