After the negative reception credsz’s 5th album “Euphoria” got, credsz had to go back into the studio in order to find inspiration and over the course of a few weeks credsz would dive into the Ambient / Drum N Bass sound that was slightly heard on Reboot (released a year prior). This shift in sound was completely different from the sound of “Euphoria” which was another basic trap album with the same features from the previous albums. The sound would surprise fans, and other artists alike due to its heavy synth like instrumentals, with obvious influence from artists like Aphex Twin, Burial, and Brian Eno who had shaped the sound of Ambient and Electronic music a few decades prior. credsz had this to say when asked why the sudden change, “I was sick of making the same thing over, and over again, and I’m pretty sure my fans were sick of it as well. Even though, Utopia, and NC-17 were better then my previous projects, they still were not the best I could do. I’m glad that fans have reacted positive to the project, I was really scared of people not understanding the music, and tossing it aside as just a "filler EP' or something like that.” User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
