Hideaki Kikuchi THE YELLOW MONKEY / ex. KILLER MAY Born on December 7, 1964 in Hino, Tokyo. Made his major debut as the guitarist for KILLER MAY in December 1986. After the band disbanded in 1989, he joined THE YELLOW MONKEY in the same year. Debuted on Nippon Columbia's TRIAD label in May 1992. After a live performance at Tokyo Dome on January 8, 2001, THE YELLOW MONKEY went on hiatus. Disbanded in 2004. Founded the indie label Brainchild's Music in October 2008 and launched brainchild's. As a solo project, he has released four albums, three mini-albums, five singles, and five live DVDs. In December 2015, he suddenly announced the new lineup. The new members released their first work (mini-album) in February 2016, and performed "brainchild's TOUR 2016 G?", visiting nine locations nationwide from March to April. In January of the same year, they announced "THE YELLOW MONKEY SUPER JAPAN TOUR 2016", an arena tour with 20 performances at 10 locations nationwide. They also reunited as THE YELLOW MONKEY for the first time in 15 years. They have released one indie album, eight albums, and 25 singles.
