YOSHII LOVINSON was the stage name adopted by Kazuya Yoshii (吉井一哉) for his solo career after his band The Yellow Monkey stopped performing together in January 2001. Starting in 2006, he has released his albums as Kazuya Yoshii (pronounced the same as his real name but written 吉井和哉 for luck). Under both names, he has scored hits on the Oricon charts in Japan.
